The new desktop unit is an AMD-powered unit designed for network service applications. Supporting the AMD Embedded G-Series SOC chipset, the PL-80740 can be guaranteed for extended product availability by WIN Enterprises.

The AMD G-Series SOC achieves superior performance per watt in the low-power x86 microprocessor class of products when running multiple industry standard benchmarks. The G-Series delivers an exceptional HD multimedia experience while supporting a heterogeneous computing platform for parallel processing. A choice of two AMD G-Series processors is provided:

          • AMD GX-412TC QC 1.0GHz
          • AMD GX-416RA QC 1.6GHz

 

  • The platform supports onboard DDR3L 1GB memory up to a maximum of 2GB. The device is equipped with storage interfaces that include a 2.5” SATA HDD and CompactFlash™. For networking utility, the PL-80740 is equipped with 8 Copper GbE, USB 2.0 ports, RJ-45 console port. A mini-card socket with LED indicators enable users to monitor power and storage device activity.
