Electronics Assembler/Tester |
| WIN Enterprises designs and produces custom electronic products for the embedded computing industry. We seek an assembler / tester who will assemble and test electronic equipment, such as motherboards, desktop devices and rack-mountable computers. The successful candidate must be able to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements, assembly instructions, and testing needs. |
| Skills and Duties: |
- Understand assembly procedures well enough to explain these to other workers.
- Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Mark and tag components so that inventory can be tracked and identified.
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering, etc.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Confer with supervisors or engineers to resolve any production problems.
- Determine operational accuracy of instruments.
- Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits and record results.
- Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations.
- Distribute materials, supplies, or subassemblies to work areas.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
